By: Mike Stiles - Friday, June 26, 2020

(SHERMAN TOWNSHIP) – Michigan State Police are investigating a break in that happened while the homeowner was home.

Troopers says the suspects contacted the homeowner at their residence in the 27,000 block of Featherstone Road. They told the homeowner they were there to give her a quote to repair her roof. One of the suspects requested the homeowner to follow him to the rear of the residence, while a second suspect entered the home through the front door.

The suspects were last seen in a newer, light gray 4 door Chevy Silverado with tinted windows. The pick up was pulling a trailer with wooden slotted sides and a tarp over the top of the trailer. They were seen heading east on Featherstone Road, going towards M-66.

If anyone had information on the location of this vehicle they are asked to call either Trooper Hofmeister or Detective Sergeant Petersen at the State Police Post in Marshall, 269-558-0500.
