Middlebury Woman Injured In Collision

(GOSHEN) - One person was injured in a two vehicle collision east of Goshen.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department says 68 year old Vera Yoder of Middlebury was traveling north on County Road 37 in a horse drawn buggy just after 3:30 Monday afternoon. Deputies say Yoder stopped at the intersection of County Road 34 and entered the intersection and was struck by a westbound automobile, driven by 22 year old Joanne Hershberger of Middlebury.

Yoder was taken to Parkview Regional Hospital by Samaritan Helicopter with an unknown head injury and pain in her right shoulder.
