MSP Investigating Branch County Break Ins

(GIRARD TOWNSHIP) – Michigan State Police are asking for the public's help with their investigation into two break ins.
Troopers say a breaking and entering happened in the 300 block of Peacock Drive in Girard Township on June 15. The suspect or suspects got into the residence and stole two firearms.
A witness near the house reported seeing a suspicious vehicle around 12:30 PM. It was a tan or gold color mid-size sedan driven by a white man with another white man in the back seat.
Another break in happened in the 300 block of Teds Drive in Coldwater Township, sometime between 4 and 7 PM on April 20. Taken were a Dewalt impact drill, 2 rechargeable chain saws, a Samsung tablet, and a black Xbox with controller.
If anyone has information on either of these crimes, they are asked to call the Michigan State Police Post in Marshall, 269-558-0500.
