(CENTREVILLE) – Financially St. Joseph County is doing well.

During Tuesday's meeting the St. Joseph County Commission was presented with the fiscal year 2019 annual audit. Joe Verlin of Gabridge & Company says the County's General Fund is stable. ...... {LISTEN}.

Verlin says there was a total governmental fund decrease of $2.76 million in fund balance. Capital projects that were scheduled by the County accounted for this drop. All total, the County spent $5.23 million in capital outlays for projects in 2019.

Overall, Verlin says St. Joseph County is receiving a clean opinion, which is the highest opinion that can be given.
