Over 500 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Indiana

(INDIANA) – Over 500 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported around Indiana since Monday.
The Indiana State Department Of Health says since Monday morning, 563 new cases of coronavirus have be detected in the Hoosier State. That brings the state total to 5,507 cases. Additionally, there were 34 more deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the total to 173.
Around Northeast Indiana, LaGrange County has not seen any new cases of COVID-19 since Monday, and is still at 6 cases along with 1 fatality. Noble County has a new case and is now up to 11 cases of coronavirus, and 1 death. Steuben County has a new case, which brings their number to 9. DeKalb County still has 4 cases of COVID-19 while Elkhart County has 7 new cases since Monday. That brings their total to 43 cases along with one fatality.
Health officials remind everyone to wash their hands frequently with soap and water; disinfect commonly touched surfaces and practice social distancing to help slow down the spread of COVID-19.
