Noble Commissioners impose emergency ban

ALBION – The Noble County Commissioners issued an order yesterday banning public and private gatherings of more than ten people...except in workplaces where social distancing guidelines are followed.

The order also closes school buildings until May 1st except to provide emergency meals on a take-out basis.

All churches and libraries are to remain closed through April 7th.

Gyms and workout facilities are closed as are entertainment and recreation establishments, golf courses, and salons.

The order took effect at 4 p-m Monday.

Commissioners also closed all Noble County government offices until April 7. Essential services will still be provided.

Kendallville City Hall closed to the public as well.
