Ohio residents told to stay at home
By: Sheila McCrea - Monday, March 23, 2020

COLUMBUS – Ohio Governor Mike Dewine issued a "Stay at Home" Order for his state.

Sunday afternoon Dewine said, "There is nothing in this order that we haven't already been talking about. There is nothing in this that I haven't been asking you to do for the last few weeks".

DeWine says the order comes at a new stage in the fight against COVID-19. While he is calling this a "stay at home" order, it is very similar to what other states are calling a "shelter in place".

For the state of Ohio, the order will go into effect at midnight tonight and lasts until April 6.

Specific details of the order will be posted on Ohio.gov and other state, county, and local government websites.
