LaGrange County Library outlines services during emergency

LAGRANGE – The LaGrange County Library will modify its operations in response to federal, state, and local emergencies.

The “Response Period” will started at 9 am on Friday, March 20, 2020, and ends at 9 am on Monday, April 13, 2020.

During that time, the Library buildings will be closed to the Public and only the following library services will be provided:

• On Monday through Friday the Library will answer telephone inquiries from 9 am to 5 pm at LaGrange, and from 10 am to 2 pm at the branches. There will be no telephone service on Saturday and Sunday.

• The Library will provide curbside check-out service from 9 am to 5 pm at LaGrange Monday through Friday, and from 10 am to 2 pm at the branches Monday through Friday. There will be no curbside service on Saturday and Sunday.

• All digital resources will be available 24/7 from the Library’s Website, including the newly-acquired “hoopla.”

• Wi-Fi service will be available from the Library parking lot 24/7.

• There will be no scheduled bookmobile stops during the Response Period.
