Lakeland announces home meals plan

LAGRANGE – Lakeland School Corporation released details of free meals for children during the school closure.

The meal deliveries will begin next Monday and on the following Mondays through April 20th except during Spring Break April 6th. Three breakfasts and three lunches will be provided each week.

ALL children 18 years of age and younger during the school closure can receive free meals at the locations listed. Children do not have to be enrolled at Lakeland. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to take home. No identification or proof of school enrollment is required, but the child must be present.

Families will be able to drive through to pick up meals.

Sites include United Methodist Church in Lagrange, Pleasant Oaks Estates in Wolcottville, Pioneer Country Estate near Howe from 10:50 a-m to 11:25 a-m; Lakeland Primary School by the ball field, Wolcott Mills Elementary, and Howe Town Park from 11:40 a-m to 12:10 p-m; and at WOLF Grain company in Wolcottville and the Ontario Park from 11 to 11:30 a-m.
