STURGIS – Sturgis Police Department will limit non-essential, face-to-face contact with the public.
Officers will handle non-emergency complaints over the phone when possible. Officers will determine how to best handle the complaint on a case-by-case basis.
If you need to turn in a pistol sales record or pay a ticket, they ask you do so by mail.
Application fingerprinting is suspended until further notice.
To obtain a copy of a police report, call the records clerk at 659-7260 and she will assist you over the phone.
Sturgis Police will still respond to all emergency calls.
