Cancellations and postponements

This evening’s public hearing on the Town of Lagrange water rate increase is postponed.

LaGrange Volunteer Fire Department has canceled the annual fish and chicken dinner for ths year.
Raffle tickets are still being sold until April 30th when the winner will be drawn.

Shipshewana Town Hall will be closed to the public until further notice. No interruption to town services. Town hall will be staffed during normal hours by calling 768-4743. Utility customers are encouraged to use the drop box or Pay-Gov on the town website to make payments.

Due to the uncertainty of a return to school date, Launch LaGrange is postposed to an undetermined date at this time. We are looking into the possibility of a virtual event.

Sports physicals scheduled for April 14th at Westview Schools are canceled. All forms and money turned in will be sent home. If you go to a family physician you must wait until after April 1 to have it count for the 20-21 school year.

NTPA Shipshewana Spring Nationals event scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 20-21 at the Michiana Event Center has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. For tickets purchased at O'Reilly Auto Parts: Return your printed tickets to the store where they were purchased. You may receive one of the following: a cash refund, a refund via your method of purchase, or store credit.
Online ticket purchasers will receive a refund automatically. Allow two to four weeks for refund to appear on your credit card statement.

The Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) training scheduled for March 20 at the LaGrange County Office in LaGrange has been cancelled due to concern for the COVID-19 corona virus issues. For those who have already paid for the training, contact the Education Store at Purdue for a refund.

The Maple Syrup Days Festival at MapleWood Nature Center near Lagrange is postponed. Reschedule date, if any, to be determined at the Park Board’s next meeting.

Purdue Extension cancels all 4-H activities through April 6.
