FORT WAYNE – Two more projects in our area could receive Regional Cities funding following their recommendation by the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority Tuesday.

The Community Learning Center project in Kendallville would receive $183-thousand dollars towards a project cost of just over 1-million dollars.

The Enterprise Center in Angola could receive $100-thousand dollars for phase two of its development costing $668-thousand.

The R-D-A was planning to recommend a total of $250-thousand in funding regional projects, but lower construction costs and additional fundraising from previously-approved projects along with earned interest made a total of $533-thousand available for investment.

The Angola and Kendallville projects along with projects from Allen and Adams Counties now go to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for final review before funding is disbursed.
