Homicide investigation uncovers marijuana growing operation

SOUTH BEND – Police in South Bend were investigating a homicide Sunday when they came upon a marijuana growing operation.
They called the Indiana State Police to assist and troopers seized 320 marijuana plants and cultivation equipment.
The operation was in the 600 block of South Liberty Street.
