KINDERHOOK TOWNSHIP – The name of a women killed in a Branch County house fire was released.
In a media release, the Michigan State Police say the victim is 70 year old Jane Hasselschwert.
She died when fire swept through her home at 1005 West Shore Drive, on the northwest side of Lake George last week.
A cause for the blaze is still under investigation by local authorities and the Michigan State Police Fire Marshal Division.
