Three Rivers police seek suspect in bank robbery

THREE RIVERS – Three Rivers Police are asking for the public's help as they search for a suspect in an attempted bank robbery.

Officers were sent to the Horizon Bank branch on West Michigan Avenue at 6:24 PM on January 8 for an attempted robbery. The incident happened just before the business closed. The teller was passed a note but refused to turn over any money.

As the investigation continued, officers were able to identify the suspect as 21 year old Taylor Jordan Philips. A felony arrest warrant was issued for Phillips from St. Joseph County District Court on a charge of attempted bank robbery.
