COLDWATER – As part of a plea agreement, a Sturgis man entered guilty pleas Monday to a pair of drug charges.

According to officials with Branch County Circuit Court, with 26 year old Joshus Summey entering those pleas, the Branch County Prosecutor's Office agreed to dismiss charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence, driving with a suspended license and unlawful driving away of an automobile. In addition, an habitual offender sentencing enhancer will also be dismissed.

Michigan State Police arrested Summey in November 2019 at Dove's Landing after he allegedly stole a vehicle at knife point.

Sentencing is set for February 24.
