ALBION – A Wolcottville man will be sentenced next month for an incident that happened in Kendallville last February.
28-year-old Kyle Gibson was charged with aggravated battery – a level 3 felony – following an incident in a garage behind a Main Street residence. Police were called to Parkview Noble Hospital where a person was dropped off by private vehicle with a gunshot wound.
Gibson was later apprehended at a Fort Wayne hotel.
Online court records indicate Gibson pled guilty to new charges of carrying a handgun without a license and criminal recklessness...both lower level felonies...in exchange for dismissal of the aggravated battery charge.
He is scheduled to be sentenced February 11th at 2 p-m in Noble Circuit Court.
