Rural Lagrange man charged with criminal recklessness with weapon

LAGRANGE – Police jailed a rural Lagrange man Monday after responding to a report of shots fired.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of 1130 South 950 East. They found 50-year-old Lonnie Christian operating a vehicle on the property while allegedly intoxicated.
Their investigation found Christian had earlier used a handgun to shoot the window out of his truck so he could get the keys.
Deputies arrested him on charges of operating while intoxicated and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
