THREE RIVERS – A St. Joseph County organization is doing their part to make sure citizens have a safe New Year's Eve.

The St. Joseph County Transportation Authority will be running free shuttle service from 6 PM Tuesday until 3 AM Wednesday to make sure people get home safely. There will be no charge for the rides, but donations will be accepted.

If you live in the Sturgis, Colon, Burr Oak, Mendon and Leonidas areas, you can call 269-816-0284 to get a ride.

For those who live near Three Rivers, Constantine, White Pigeon, and Centreville, you can call 269-816-0381 for your ride. There will be no pre-booking of rides, just call when you are ready to be picked up.

In addition, the Transportation Authority will be open for reduced service on Tuesday from 6 AM until 6 PM. The Sturgis Circle Line will run two buses starting at 8 AM and the last round will be at 3:30 PM. The Three Rivers Circle Line will operate from 8 AM until 3 PM.
