STURGIS – Heading into the final week of 2019 gasoline prices were as low as $2.29 a gallon in Sturgis and as high as $2.59 just five miles down the road in Howe.

In the Kendallville area prices ranged from $2.55 to $2.59 a gallon...while Angola prices ranged from $2.59 to $2.65.

Triple A says prices are definitely higher than at this time last year...about 53 cents higher in the South Bend Area and about 48 cents higher in the Fort Wayne area.

Prices rose over the holidays about 8-cents a gallon average in Indiana.
