Inmate death ruled a suicide

DECATUR – The Adams County Coroner has ruled the death of a jail inmate on Christmas Day a suicide.

Coroner Leslie Cook says an autopsy conducted Friday determined that 49-year-old Daniel Dauscher died of asphyxia due to hanging. Dauscher was in his cell alone at the time of his death.
