By: Tim Murray - Monday, December 23, 2019

INDIANAPOLIS – Our five-county region of northeast Indiana had mixed results when it came to unemployment in November.

Two saw increases, two had decreases, and one was unchanged from October.

Steuben and DeKalb County posted the declines. DeKalb falling from 3 percent down to 2.8 percent...Steuben going from 2.7 to 2.6 percent.

LaGrange and Noble Counties both posted increases in their jobless rates. Noble going from 2.9 to 3 percent and Lagrange from 2.5 to 2.6 percent.

Elkhart County was unchanged at 2.8 percent.

All were lower than the state’s rate of 3.2 percent.
