ELKHART – Three Chevys mixed it up on State Road 19 south of Elkhart this morning, sending one driver to the hospital.
55-year-old Marie Heuenschwander of Elkhart was bleeding from the mouth following the crash and was treated at Elkhart General.
Sheriff’s deputies say Heuenschwander was southbound on State Road 19 and tried to go between two vehicles that were also southbound. She ended up striking them both.
She received a citation for unsafe lane movement and driving left of center.
