LaGrange Town Board renews town manager's contract
By: Tim Murray - Tuesday, December 3, 2019

LAGRANGE – The LaGrange Town Board extended the contract of the town manager and passed the 2020 wages and salary ordinance Monday evening.

The board approved a four year contract with Town Manager Mark Eagleson.

Town Clerk Laurie Miller reported the state approved the town’s 2020 budget with the exception of the capital development fund, which needs to be renewed.

Miller said the property tax rates are down this year due to an increase in assessed value.

The board authorized the fire department to sell its old grass truck to the Howe Fire Department for one dollar through an interlocal agreement.

It also authorized the purchase of new dress uniforms for the fire department.
