LAGRANGE – The LaGrange County Commissioners approved a contract worth $378-thousand dollars for the assessor’s office.

The contract for pictometry – aerial images used in the assessment process – will be done in three phases.

Commissioners also authorized the highway department to purchase a used fork lift after their current one blew an engine. The used Kumatsu replacement from B & J Combined Sales will cost $8,550 with trade-in and parts return.

County Highway Supervisor Ben Parrish told commissioners he is readying the grant agreements for the three Community Crossings funded projects.

"Micro-surface on 600 North from 375 East to 1000 East, one mile of resurfacing on Hawpatch, and a mile of resurface on 100 South from Townline going west."

The commissioners will review the agreements before their next meeting.
