Kendallville woman hurt in crash on US 6

GOSHEN – A Kendallville woman was taken to Parkview Regional following a crash on US 6 in Elkhart County Saturday afternoon.
Police say 23-year-old Sarah Buttgen suffered head pain after her Ford Escape was rear-ended by a car west of County Road 43. She was taken by ambulance to Parkview.
The other driver – 51-year-old Curtis Freese of South Bend – suffered leg pain. He was treated at Goshen Hospital.
Elkhart County deputies cited Freese for driving while suspended and operating with expired registration.
