LaGrange County units getting $2.2M from Community Crossings

INDIANAPOLIS – LaGrange County, Lagrange, Shipshewana and Topeka will get a total of more than $2.2 million dollars for local streets and roads through the second round of grants from the state’s Community Crossings grant program.

Shipshewana gets the largest share at $720-thousand. Topeka is getting $631,500. The Town of Lagrange $562,500 LaGrange County will get $409,559.

Other grants go to Bristol ($132,195) Middlebury ($336,061), Millersburg ($90,244), Elkhart County ($1,000,000), Rome City ($255,939), Kendallville ($997,388), Ashley ($132,000), Steuben County ($137,838), Clear Lake ($236,250), and Fremont ($1,000,000).

Also DeKalb County ($962,350), Butler ($433,576), Auburn ($494,863), Garrett ($364,143), Saint Joe ($52,680).
