FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP – Michigan State Police are investigating a hit and run accident that happened in Flowerfield Township.
Troopers say at 6:20 Monday morning, a silver Dodge Dakota extended cab pick up was heading north on Bent Road and pulled into the path of an eastbound motorcycle and the vehicles collided. The pick up then fled the scene heading west on M-216.
The pick up has damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle, including a broken headlight.
Troopers did not say if the driver of the motorcycle was injured or not.
If anyone has information on this incident, they are asked to call the State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
