LaGrange County 4-H Fair begins Saturday

LAGRANGE – The 66th LaGrange County 4-H Fair begins on Saturday but at least one activity takes place tonight with the queen contest preliminaries at the Lakeland High School Auditorium at 6 p-m.

Many 4-H projects will be entered Saturday morning before the fair officially opens at noon.

A Kidz Zone is available daily with free activities, games and crafts.

The 4-H recognition ceremonies start at 4 p-m and are followed by the the results of the queen contest and 4-H fashion review.

Mason RailTime Adventure carnival fun for kids opens at 4 p-m.

Dialed Action Sport Team BMX and Mountain Bike stunt show has shows at 4 6 and 8 p-m.

The opening night grandstand entertainment is the Three Bar J Ranch and Topeka Rental Center presenting IPRA rodeo competition starting at 7 p-m and sponsored by Yoder’s Meat and Cheese Company. Grandstand tickets at $10 and track passes are $15.

Opening day winds down with a fireworks show at 10 p-m.

Weekly passes are $30. Gate fees are $10 per carload or $5 for walkins.
