Dr. Denton announces transition to retirement
By: Tim Murray - Monday, June 24, 2019

LAGRANGE – He treated many LaGrange County residents when they were kids...then their kids...and in some cases, their grandkids.

Dr. Ronald Denton has practiced dentistry for nearly 44-years in Lagrange. Over the next two years he’ll make the transition to retirement.

In a letter to patients, Denton announced that Dr. Kalyssa Bontrager from Leo will take over July 1st while he will work with her over the next two years.

Bontrager is 2019 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and a new mom. She and her husband, Matt, welcomed a new daughter in April.

Dr. Denton says the past 44 years were about more than dentistry. He said it was also about personal relationships and he considers many of his patients friends.

Denton’s staff will stay on during the transition.
