(ELKHART COUNTY) – A person was injured in a one vehicle crash over the weekend.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says just after 9 AM, a woman was driving on Old US 20 near Wal Mart and was trying to pull off the road to help a passenger in her vehicle, when she lost control of the automobile and struck an electrical box, a pole and then a fence.

The injured individual was the driver’s 22 year old daughter. She was taken to an area hospital to be treated. No other information has been released.
